We have a standing maintenance window for residential services from 12AM to 6AM. We generally do not notify residential customers when maintenance is occuring during the standard maintenance window. We have received information from customers who are receiving calls from companies such as Peak Communications. The representatives of Peak Communications claim they are authorized by CentraCom to take over or switch long distance phone service. Please be aware this is not authorized by CentraCom. CentraCom (or Central Utah Telephone, Inc.) does not work with any other company to manage any telephone or long distance service.
If you have received a call that is suspicious, please call a CentraCom Customer Service Representative (435) 427-3331 to verify your account has not been modified without your consent. We can place a "pic freeze" on your account so that no unauthorized changes may be made to your LD service.
